  • 99% of respondents are aware of the concept of Bio, Eco, Organic and define it as: a product that not contain any harmful substances (44%), grown naturally, without fertilizer or growth hormones (38%), 100% natural product (27%).
  • 4 out of 10 respondents would pay 6%-10% more for Bio products.
  • Most respondents buy Bio products from physical stores (90%). These stores are: Lidl (26%), Kaufland (25%) and Carrefour Hypermarket (16%).
  • The most important attributes in choosing the Bio products are related with: properties of the product (healthy, natural, fresh, taste / smell, quality), trust, care of environment and matching with the lifestyle of the respondent.
  • The main reasons for NOT buying Bio products are: the products are not 100% natural products (46%), the products don’t have good value for money (45%), the products are not found in any store (24%).
